TEFAF New York Spring 2017

We are delighted to be exhibiting at the first TEFAF New York Spring, the third fair under the TEFAF banner. Richard Green is a founder member of TEFAF Maastricht, which since 1988 has been bringing to an international public the highest-quality, rigorously vetted paintings and works of art from Classical times to Contemporary. In October 2016 TEFAF New York Fall was launched to great success, with an emphasis on Old Master paintings and earlier works of art. TEFAF New York Spring will focus on Impressionism to Contemporary, a journey through some of the fastest-paced and exciting decades of cultural achievement.

Richard Green is displaying important Impressionist landscapes by Eugène Boudin, Pierre-Auguste Renoir and Camille Pissarro, seen in company with Post-Impressionists Paul Signac, Henry Moret and Henri-Edmond Cross, who built on Impressionist innovations to forge their own brilliant styles. The currents of Modernism are traced in abstract paintings by Ben Nicholson, Bridget Riley and Gerhard Richter, while works by Henry Moore and Graham Sutherland show the fascinating fusion of the abstract and the figurative that lies deep in the tradition of twentieth century British painting.

We look forward to seeing you at the fair.
